Group Sales Manager - Adirondack Thunder (Glens Falls, NY)

JOB DESCRIPTION

The primary function of a Group Sales Manager is to renew and sell new group (10-or-more tickets to a customer) packages and service those accounts. The Manager will dedicate 100% of his / her time year-round to the team’s group sales and servicing business. The Manager will also be responsible for customer service, add-on sales and account management, answering the Thunder’s phone lines and process in-coming, unsolicited group sales.

Director, Ticket Sales & Services

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Retain, service and upgrade existing group accounts 
  • Develop new sales leads and prospects daily
  • Ensure customer issues are resolved and all customer contacts recorded in department CRM
  • Assist with facilitating and maintaining payment plans 
  • Field all customer service related issues during games and special events 
  • Meet and exceed both weekly and monthly sales goals, by product

REQUIREMENTS    

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) from a four year college or university. A background in Sports Management, Sales, Marketing or Communications is preferred but not required 
  • High level work ethic with a competitive, results-driven nature and customer relationship focus
  • Strong written and oral communications skills 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) software, as well as familiarity with ticketing and box office software.

COMPENSATION

JOB DESCRIPTION

The primary function of the Director, Group Sales is to oversee and manage the Adirondack Thunder’s group sales department.   • 3-5 Years of prior Ticket Sales Experience, preferably in group sales
  • Experience in a Manager or Director role preferred
  • Proven Sales Track Record, preferably in the professional sports and entertainment industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university.
  • High level work ethic with a competitive, results-driven nature and customer relationship focus
  • Strong written and oral communications skills

SUMMARY:

Highly motivated sales professional with experience selling groups and season tickets needed for Everblades hockey games and Germain Arena events. Must have the ability to build and cultivate relationships through setting face to face appointments as well as cold calling prospects. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Very active outbound selling position (Minimum 60 calls per day)
• Meet or exceed established yearly revenue goals
• Prospect and cultivate leads through phone calls, emails, face to face appointments, in arena presentations, and inbound inquires as well as current clients of Germain Arena
• Ability to execute meetings, calls, and presentations

Ticket Sales & Service: Ticket Sales
Account Executive - Greenville Swamp Rabbits (Greenville, SC)

General Statement of Duties:
Sell a full menu of hospitality and ticket-based products for the primary ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers. The Account Executive will perform the role of a primary revenue producer for the organization in the ticket sales department. The Swamp Rabbits Account Executive will utilize a consultative selling approach to customize hospitality, business development and individual entertainment solutions focusing on suites, party suites, full season tickets, partial plans and group packages. The account executive will prospect, qualify, sell and service both individual and business accounts. The Ticket Sales Team reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and cultivate new sales leads through creative lead generation methods, as well as follow up on leads provided by the Swamp Rabbits.
  • Consistently meet and exceed daily and weekly quotas for calls and appointments. (A minimum of 75+ calls per day and five + meetings per week is expected).
  • Meet or exceed established yearly revenue and ticket goals set for new business and renewals.
  • Prospect for new season ticket, group and suite business via phone conversations, face-to-face meetings/presentations and client needs analysis
  • Manage obstacles and overcome objections that are presented during the sales process.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and prospects using a variety of tactics including but not limited to: networking events, speaking engagements, prospect sampling at games, seat visits at games, open houses at Bon Secours Wellness Arena and outside meetings.
  • Up-sell current partial plan holders to larger ticket packages.
  • Ask for, contact and close referrals from existing season ticket holders and group leaders.
  • Execute contracts, billing, and follow up on payment for clients.
  • Successfully service your book of clients to maintain satisfaction and retention.
  • Enter all pertinent prospect and customer information in CRM platform for efficient reporting and historical data purposes.
  • Assist with answering incoming sales line during home and away games as needed; assist with call tracking for and reporting purposes.
  • Work all home games and special events.
  • Other duties assigned by senior staff.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Sports Management, Marketing or related field preferred.

Inside Sales Representative - Manchester Monarchs (Manchester, NH) - Manchester Monarchs (Manchester, NH)

The Manchester Monarchs are an ECHL hockey team located in Manchester, New Hampshire.

The Monarchs are seeking individuals for hire on a trial basis in our ticket sales department. The key responsibility of the sales associates will be to prospect qualified accounts for ticket package and group ticket purchasing.

This position begins in August. At the end of the Inside Sales period, based on performance and potential, a full-time staff position could be offered.

The ideal candidate would have some experience in direct sales and be comfortable making a pre-determined amount of phone calls daily to both consumers and businesses.

Excellent communication skills are required. All candidates must be outgoing with a can-do attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment. Training will be provided.

A Season Ticket & Group Sales Consultant is directly involved with the sale of tickets.   He/she uses planning, organizational and people skills to prospect and achieve season ticket, group ticket, individual ticket and catering sales goals as established by the Assistant General Manager - Ticket Sales & Operations and the Director of Ticket Sales.

Ticket Sales Manager - Utah Grizzlies (West Valley City, UT)

POSITION SUMMARY/DESCRIPTION 
This position is responsible managing ticket sales staff, not only by leading by example, but specifically providing direction, ongoing assistance, implementing sales strategies, and direct oversight for the Ticket Sales Department. Ticket Sales Manager will be responsible for recruitment and hiring of ticket sales staff, lead procurement via means of outside networking and prospecting. Candidate is responsible for new business development by selling Utah Grizzlies ticket packages, group seats, and rental suites through phone sales and outside meetings.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Ticket Sales Manager will direct the staff recruiting process which includes prospecting candidates, interviews, hiring, orientation, and ongoing training
• Create, develop, and implement sales campaigns and strategies specifically in regard to season and flex ticket sales, group sales efforts, and other promotional ticket packages
• Track progress of department by creating reports which will show ticket sales, revenue, goals, and future projections
• Responsible for new business development of all Utah Grizzlies products through face-to-face presentations, prospecting new clients, following-up on referrals and leads, and cold calling
• Responsible for instruction, oversight, continuous training, having a sales first mentality while managing entire Ticket Sales Department
• Makes outbound calls daily with customers/new clients prospecting new business 
• Prospects and qualifies all new leads and referrals for season tickets, group sales and suite sales
• Meets new business development and sales goals
• Manages sales kiosks, service clients and work other related assignments on game days 
• Regularly attend season ticket holder events to maintain and service current ticket holders 
• Consistently deliver high-level of customer service to both internal and external clients helping provide world-class service

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

1. FORMAL EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION
• A degree in business, communications, sports marketing or related field.

2. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 3-4 years business-to-business sales experience with proven track record of successfully developing and closing new business in a high volume sales environment
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in managing a staff, preferably in sales. 
• Proficient computer skills including ability to work with MS Word, Excel and Outlook

Description

As an Account Executive for the Grizzlies, you will begin building your sports resume through your performance developing relationships throughout Salt Lake that produce new ticket sales opportunities.
