SUMMARY:

Highly motivated sales professional with experience selling groups and season tickets needed for Everblades hockey games and Germain Arena events. Must have the ability to build and cultivate relationships through setting face to face appointments as well as cold calling prospects. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Very active outbound selling position (Minimum 60 calls per day)
• Meet or exceed established yearly revenue goals
• Prospect and cultivate leads through phone calls, emails, face to face appointments, in arena presentations, and inbound inquires as well as current clients of Germain Arena
• Ability to execute meetings, calls, and presentations
• Develop and grow relationships with current clients to increase selling opportunities through exceptional service and referrals

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Highly motivated self-starter with strategic thinking skills
• Work well in a team selling environment and ability to collaborate with others
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage and prioritize daily effort
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to communicate effectively with prospects, customers and internal team
• Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint, & Ticketmaster
• Ability to work irregular hours, event coverage and weekends
• Reliable transportation to reach the market on outside sales appointments is essential
• Four-year College degree preferred

About the South Carolina Stingrays
Three time Kelly Cup Champion South Carolina Stingrays are a professional minor league ice hockey team based in North Charleston, South Carolina. The Stingrays play in the South Division of the ECHL's Eastern Conference. We play our home games at the North Charleston Coliseum located just outside the historic city of Charleston SC. We are a fast growing, sales-first agency that sells season tickets, group tickets and we are looking for highly motivated sales people to be a part of our team.

Responsibilities/Duties for Sales Position:

  •  Generate business revenue using all sales methods, including cold calls, face to face appointments, prospecting and networking.
  •  Manage accounts in order to exceed established weekly and monthly sales goals.
  •  This job requires 60+ phone calls per day to develop and close new clients for group ticketing and season sales.
  •  Aggressive prospecting in order to generate new business relationships.
  •  Develop prospects by calling on self-generated leads and lists provided of former customers.
  •  Establish professional relationships to create repeat business
  •  Working home games for the purpose of developing new prospects, service customers and performing other game night duties.

This is a highly competitive, results oriented sales environment.
This is an entry level position.

Qualifications:

  •  Candidates for this position must have a Bachelor’s Degree
  •  At least one year sales experience
  •  Friendly/Inviting phone presence
  •  Professional presence to conduct face to face business meetings
  •  Serious work ethic, self-motivation, accountability and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  •  Must work evening, weekends and holidays

Box Office Coordinator - The Florida Everblades & Germain Arena (Estero, FL)

DEPARTMENT: Box Office

JOB TITLE:       Box Office Coordinator

DIRECT REPORT:        Box Office Manager

 

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Box Office Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Box Office.  This position is also responsible for the oversight of the flow of money in regards to any and all ticket purchases.

 

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY AND RESULTS EXPECTED:

¨      Oversee the day to day functions of the Box Office: which include money handling, customer relations, staff management, and report generation.

¨      Reporting the daily financial numbers, by way of established spreadsheets.

¨      Preparing monthly reports

¨      Collecting daily monetary deposits and arranging for their pick-up by the Money Room Manager.

¨      Cash out ticket sellers after each shift.

¨      Print comp tickets based on guidelines of event and maintain list for settlement.

¨      Oversee training of new sellers.

¨      Maintain a map library of past events color coded to pricing.

¨      Ensure that all ticket windows have a map of every event on sale.

¨      Research ticketing issues such as lost tickets, stop payments on credit cards, group accounts not in balance.

¨      Resolve ticketing issues during events.

¨      Complying with building budgetary guidelines.

¨       Facilitating a positive public image of Germain Arena

¨      Troubleshoot Ticketmaster system.

¨       Adherence to all Arena policies and procedures. 

SPECIFIC SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS FOR OPTIMUM JOB PERFORMANCE:

¨      Strong Organizational skills

¨      Computer Literate; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel. 

¨      Experience with Ticketmaster systems and reports

Season Ticket and Group Sales Consultant - Toledo Walleye/Toledo Mud Hens (Toledo, OH)

Summary of Responsibilities:

A Season Ticket & Group Sales Consultant is directly involved with the sale of tickets.   He/she uses planning, organizational and people skills to prospect and achieve season ticket, group ticket, individual ticket and catering sales goals as established by the Assistant General Manager - Ticket Sales & Operations and the Director of Ticket Sales.

Functions:

- Reach personal sales goals as established by the Assistant GM and Director of Ticket Sales.

- Plan, organize and manage personal sales goals and help the ticket department achieve its goals.

- Make outgoing calls and contacts in order to generate new sales and attract new companies/fans.

- Sell various season ticket plans to businesses, organizations and individuals.

- Sell group outings and catered events to businesses, organizations and individuals.

- Sell merchandise and souvenirs to businesses, organizations and individuals.

- Maintain relationships/sales with existing clientele in all ticket sales categories to ensure long-term partnerships and upsell possibilities.

- Handle incoming inquiries regarding season ticket plans and group outing options.

- Disseminate season ticket, group and catering information to existing and potential clients.

- Follow up with the people who request and receive season ticket, group outing and food & beverage outing information.

- Collect deposits and final balances on outings and season ticket plans and follow the proper processes as they relate to the Box Office, accounting, CRM, etc.

- Interact with other staff members to help insure a positive and successful season.

- Set up meetings with potential season ticket holders and group leaders.

- Refer corporate sales opportunities to the Assistant General Manager – Corporate Partnerships.

- Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

  1. Full time, year round.
  2. Off-season hours are typically 8+ hour days.  During season hours may range from 8 to 14 hours per day

Required Experience:

A Ticket Consultant should be self motivated.  It is necessary to have good people, planning and organizational skills.  There is daily interaction with current and potential clients.  He/she should be creative, driven and possess the ability to work with others and accept various tasks.  Ticket sales experience is recommended but not required.

1 year or more of Sales Experience Required

Tulsa Oilers Account Executive

The Tulsa Oilers seek a Full Time Account Executive. Any person interested must be motivated and passionate about a career in sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Make daily sales calls to generate new business through group and season tickets
• Assist in database management, including lead entry and reporting.
• Ability to come up with new group concepts and ideas for increasing revenue
• Must meet or exceed individual and team sales goals
• Assist with all special group and season ticket sales projects.
• Work in conjunction with Ticket Sales, Corporate Partnerships, Community Relations, Media Relations and Operations for all internal ticket allotment and allocation.
• Develop and maintain files and reports on each event that consists of ticket sales, group sales, comp tickets and overall event audits.

• Ability to function in fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects and meet frequent deadlines
