Ticket Sales Account Executive - South Carolina Stingrays (N Charleston, SC)

Responsibilities/Duties:

·       Responsible for generating the maximum revenue for the South Carolina Stingrays through the sale of ticket packages

·       Sell new season tickets and group tickets

·       Become proficient in all product lines including season plans, partial plans, and group packages

·       Full participation in extensive inbound/outbound call campaigns; making a minimum of 60 out-bound calls a day

·       Actively schedule and conduct in-person sales appointments with prospective clients; aim for a minimum of 12 appointments per week

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Assistant Manager, Box Office Sales & Services assists with the day-to-day operations of the Box Office for the Mud Hens and Walleye.  Main tasks include but are not limited to managing the box office during games/events, daily reconciliation, training of part-time sales staff, selling and processing of game plans, group tickets, theme nights and single game tickets. 

 Functions:

  1. Assist in the management and supervision of the day to day operations of the Box Office for both franchises to ensure departmental goals and increased sales objectives are reached.
  2. Assist in the management and processing of all financial allocation, deposits and reporting with regards to ticket purchases through Ticketreturn ticketing software.
  3. Manage a sales oriented, motivated Box Office with constant attention to detail on upsell and cross selling opportunities.   Place a continued emphasis on selling more individual tickets annually.
  4. Manage and schedule seasonal staffing at the proper levels.
  5. Perform reconciliation duties for Box Office sales as needed to ensure proper accounting of tickets and revenue.
  6. Prepare daily ticket sales settlement reports, statements and records.
  7. Process and execute all Game Plan, Group Sales and Theme Night orders and sales coming from the Mud Hens and Walleye Ticket Sales staffs.
  8. Assist in the hiring, training, supervising, scheduling and evaluating of Box Office personnel.
  9. Daily opening and closing functions related to the Box Office.
  10. Strive to capture more customer information wherever possible.
  11. Manage and maintain the maximum level of customer service in the Box Office and assist with patrons of the ballpark with special needs or complaints.
  12. Conduct FANATICAL Fan Experience meetings with staff prior to events.
  13. Assist with the coordination of the mailing/delivery of season tickets for both franchises.
  14. Aid in the monitoring of distribution of brochures, schedules and any other applicable sales pieces.
  15. Continue to build upon current relationships while obtaining new clients.
  16. Perform additional duties as requested by the Manager – Box Office Sales & Services

 Working Conditions:

  1. Full time, year-round
  2. Shifts are typically 8-10 hour days.  Specific hours are dependent upon schedule of Mud Hen and Walleye games.

 Required Experience:

The Assistant Manager, Box Office Sales & Services should have experience with computer based tickets sales systems and an overall understanding of the entire department with some management experience.  A thorough understanding of ticket order processing is essential.  The candidate should have experience selling tickets packages, group functions and game day tickets.  A four-year college degree, computer skills, management capabilities including planning, decision making, problem solving, patience and an understanding of accounting principles are recommended.

Summary of Responsibilities:

A Season Ticket & Group Sales Consultant is directly involved with the sale of tickets.   He/she uses planning, organizational and people skills to prospect and achieve season ticket, group ticket, individual ticket and catering sales goals as established by the Assistant General Manager - Ticket Sales & Operations and the Director of Ticket Sales.  

Functions:

  1. Reach personal sales goals as established by the Assistant GM and Director of Ticket Sales.
  2. Plan, organize and manage personal sales goals and help the ticket department achieve its goals.
  3. Make outgoing calls and contacts in order to generate new sales and attract new companies/fans.
  4. Sell various season ticket plans to businesses, organizations and individuals.
  5. Sell group outings and catered events to businesses, organizations and individuals.
  6. Sell merchandise and souvenirs to businesses, organizations and individuals.
  7. Maintain relationships/sales with existing clientele in all ticket sales categories to ensure long-term partnerships and upsell possibilities.
  8. Handle incoming inquiries regarding season ticket plans and group outing options.
  9. Disseminate season ticket, group and catering information to existing and potential clients.
  10. Follow up with the people who request and receive season ticket, group outing and food & beverage outing information.
  11. Collect deposits and final balances on outings and season ticket plans and follow the proper processes as they relate to the Box Office, accounting, CRM, etc.
