Reports to the VP of Ticket Sales & Director of Group Sales. RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales of season tickets, mini-plans and group tickets. EXPERIENCE: Minimum one-year sales experience preferred SKILLS: Enjoy working with people Fluent computer (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Access) Good writing and communication skills Strong time management and organizational skills. BACKGROUND:

The Bakersfield Condors are members of the 23-team ECHL – America’s Premier AA Hockey League. The Condors play in the Western Conference along with Anchorage, AK; Boise, ID; Loveland,CO; Ontario, CA; Las Vegas, NV; Salt Lake City, UT; San Francisco, CA and Stockton, CA .
The Condors play in the beautiful state-of-the-art Rabobank Arena, with a capacity of 9,000, 28 luxury suites and center-hung video scoreboard.
The organization has earned numerous awards and honors for community involvement, marketing, sales and game presentation, including most recently; 2010-11 ECHL Award of Excellence, 2009-10 & 2007-08 ECHL Marketing Award, 2007 Beautiful Bakersfield Humanitarian Group Award, 2007-08 ECHL Web Site of the Year, and 2005 ECHL Ticket Department of the Year.
Average attendance is among the league leaders at nearly 5,000 fans per game.

Ticket Sales & Service: Ticket Sales
Account Executive - Cincinnati Cyclones (Cincinnati, OH)

The Cincinnati Cyclones seek an energetic, hard working, and motivated sales associate to sell season tickets and group tickets via telemarketing, electronic mail and face-to-face presentations. This position will also service existing accounts, work all regular season home games and cultivate relationships with their season ticket clientele. Create new ideas to increase ticket sales and retention, perform basic office functions as needed and be expected to attain goals of the ticket department each season.

 

IDEAL CANDIDATE: Candidates experienced in sports team sales, general business sales or sports management are preferred. Previous experience in face to face and telemarketing sales is ideal.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

DUTIES:

  • Sell ticket packages including season tickets, partial plans, group tickets, to Cyclones games
  • Establish professional relationships in order to create repeat business and superior customer service
  • Use proactive tactics to create opportunities for new business with existing customers
  • Use telemarketing as a tool to sell season, group, and partial ticket plan packages to local companies
  • Call past customers and new customers to generate ticket revenue
  • Handle incoming sales calls from prospective clients
  • Meet or exceed appointed sales goals for all ticket packages
  • Maintain complete and accurate records for customers and organization
  • Work all home games for the purpose of developing new prospects plus meeting with present clients for referral opportunities
  • Create and develop new marketing concepts to generate new revenue streams

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior sales experience preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Ticket Sales Account Executive - San Francisco Bulls Hockey (Daly City, CA)

POSITION OVERVIEW


The San Francisco Bulls are seeking hard working, positive, coachable, and passionate individuals that are committed to becoming an industry sales leader. All Sales Executives will be responsible for selling season tickets, mini plans, and groups. Revenue will be generated via phone, email marketing, face to face presentations, in-arena tours and out-of-office appointments.
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible for the sale of new full season tickets, partial season ticket plans, group tickets.
• Expected to prospect and qualify all potential sales opportunities
• Provide excellent customer service
• Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals
• Assist customer service efforts (mailing invoices, tickets, etc…) 
• Set appointments, show seats, give arena tours
• Game night duties as assigned (visit clients, works sales table, etc…)
• Other duties as assigned



Qualifications:
 

• Previous Sales Experience with a degree in Marketing, Business, Sports Management, Communication or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good working knowledge of the Sales Profession, sports industry experience preferred.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Good working knowledge of the computer, a spreadsheet program and word-processing program.

Account Executive - Ticket Sales - Utah Grizzlies (Salt Lake City, Ut)

 Description
As an Account Executive for the Grizzlies, you will begin building your sports resume through your performance developing relationships throughout Salt Lake that produce new ticket sales opportunities. A successful executive will use cold calls, face-to-face meetings and email marketing as methods for building lasting relationships with local businesses and individuals. As a member of our sales team, a high level of performance will enable you the opportunity to take on additional roles in both sales and management as your skills and resume to continually develop. The ability to work as a part of team is a must!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Generate business revenue using all sales methods, including cold calls, face to face appointments, prospecting and networking
• Make cold calls from provided lists to area companies to build new relationships
• Use a full catalog of inventory items (Group Seats, Full & Mini Packages, Food & Beverage Options, Suites, Meetings Space, etc) to customize a comprehensive hospitality package that fits your client's every need
• Aggressively prospect and research new sales leads
• Conduct face to face sales presentations with prospects and potential customers
• Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals in the areas of season, group and partial-plan ticket packages
• Record all activity and sales pipeline details in CRM system
• Provide superior customer service to clients - existing ticket holders, prospects, and single game customers
• Sell other special projects when necessary
• Be present at all home games to service your customers, establish new relationships and help manage the game day duties
• Attend team and community events for the purpose of making new connections and maximizing sales opportunities
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Sales Manager

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Highly motivated with a desire to be successful
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Detail-oriented and organized; ability to handle several projects at once
• Prior telemarketing and/or sales experience is preferred but not essential

DUTIES:
• Responsible for the direct solicitation of sales including season tickets, flex-plans, group ticket sales and corporate sponsorships. 
• Sell and service new accounts including sponsorship packages, ticket packages and group sales.  
• Develop and expand relationships with clients and organizations.
• Assist with client customer service and database development
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Team Vice President and Group Sales Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be aggressive and self-motivated.
• Must have the ability to make 50-75 phone calls per day and schedule face to face meetings.
