Season and Group Ticket Sales Associate - Reading Royals (Reading, PA)

Summary of Responsibilities: A Season Ticket & Group Sales Associate is integral in the sale of tickets. Candidates must be able to effectively use planning, organizational and people skills to prospect and achieve season ticket, group ticket, and individual ticket sales goals as established by Management.

Responsibilities:

- Make outgoing calls and contacts in order to generate new sales and attract new companies/fans

- Properly research prospects prior to calls to ensure effective and beneficial communication 

- Sell various season ticket plans to businesses, organizations and individuals

- Achieve personal sales goals as established by the Ticket Sales Manager

- Plan, organize and manage personal sales goals and help the ticket department achieve its goals

- Sell group outings and catered events to businesses, organizations and individuals

- Maintain year round relationships with existing customer base in all ticket sales categories to ensure long-term partnerships and upsell possibilities

- Handle incoming inquiries regarding season ticket plans and group outing options

- Disseminate season ticket, group and catering information to existing and potential clients

- Respond to all inquiries for more information on season ticket packages, group outings, etc.

- Lead the collection of deposits and final balances on all of your sales

- Understand, follow and help improve processes as they relate to ticket sales, accounting, CRM, etc.

- Engage with colleagues in a manner to promote a positive and productive culture throughout the season

- Schedule meetings with potential season ticket holders and group leaders

- Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned

Schedule:

  1. Full time, year round.
  2. Off-season hours are typically 8 hour days.  During season hours may range from 8 to 14 hours per day

Required Experience:

A Ticket Consultant should be self motivated and a self starter.  It is necessary to have good people, planning and organizational skills.  There is daily interaction with current and potential clients.  He/she should be creative, driven and possess the ability to work with others and accept various tasks.  Ticket sales experience is recommended but not required.

Season Ticket and Group Sales Consultant - Toledo Walleye/Toledo Mud Hens (Toledo, OH)

Summary of Responsibilities:

A Season Ticket & Group Sales Consultant is directly involved with the sale of tickets.   He/she uses planning, organizational and people skills to prospect and achieve season ticket, group ticket, individual ticket and catering sales goals as established by the Assistant General Manager - Ticket Sales & Operations and the Director of Ticket Sales.

Functions:

- Reach personal sales goals as established by the Assistant GM and Director of Ticket Sales.

- Plan, organize and manage personal sales goals and help the ticket department achieve its goals.

- Make outgoing calls and contacts in order to generate new sales and attract new companies/fans.

- Sell various season ticket plans to businesses, organizations and individuals.

- Sell group outings and catered events to businesses, organizations and individuals.

- Sell merchandise and souvenirs to businesses, organizations and individuals.

- Maintain relationships/sales with existing clientele in all ticket sales categories to ensure long-term partnerships and upsell possibilities.

- Handle incoming inquiries regarding season ticket plans and group outing options.

- Disseminate season ticket, group and catering information to existing and potential clients.

- Follow up with the people who request and receive season ticket, group outing and food & beverage outing information.

- Collect deposits and final balances on outings and season ticket plans and follow the proper processes as they relate to the Box Office, accounting, CRM, etc.

- Interact with other staff members to help insure a positive and successful season.

- Set up meetings with potential season ticket holders and group leaders.

- Refer corporate sales opportunities to the Assistant General Manager – Corporate Partnerships.

- Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Tulsa Oilers Account Executive

The Tulsa Oilers seek a Full Time Account Executive. Any person interested must be motivated and passionate about a career in sales.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Make daily sales calls to generate new business through group and season tickets
• Assist in database management, including lead entry and reporting.
• Ability to come up with new group concepts and ideas for increasing revenue
• Must meet or exceed individual and team sales goals
• Assist with all special group and season ticket sales projects.
• Work in conjunction with Ticket Sales, Corporate Partnerships, Community Relations, Media Relations and Operations for all internal ticket allotment and allocation.
• Develop and maintain files and reports on each event that consists of ticket sales, group sales, comp tickets and overall event audits.
 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent oral communication, customer service and problem solving skills
• Ability to function in fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects and meet frequent deadlines
• High energy; ability to remain focused on accomplishing tasks, working independently and offering excellent internal customer service to all departments within the Tulsa Oilers front office
• Available to work flexible hours
 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Account Executive - Ticket Sales - Utah Grizzlies (Salt Lake City, Ut)

 Description
As an Account Executive for the Grizzlies, you will begin building your sports resume through your performance developing relationships throughout Salt Lake that produce new ticket sales opportunities. A successful executive will use cold calls, face-to-face meetings and email marketing as methods for building lasting relationships with local businesses and individuals. As a member of our sales team, a high level of performance will enable you the opportunity to take on additional roles in both sales and management as your skills and resume to continually develop. The ability to work as a part of team is a must!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Generate business revenue using all sales methods, including cold calls, face to face appointments, prospecting and networking
• Make cold calls from provided lists to area companies to build new relationships
• Use a full catalog of inventory items (Group Seats, Full & Mini Packages, Food & Beverage Options, Suites, Meetings Space, etc) to customize a comprehensive hospitality package that fits your client's every need
• Aggressively prospect and research new sales leads
• Conduct face to face sales presentations with prospects and potential customers
• Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals in the areas of season, group and partial-plan ticket packages
• Record all activity and sales pipeline details in CRM system
• Provide superior customer service to clients - existing ticket holders, prospects, and single game customers
• Sell other special projects when necessary
• Be present at all home games to service your customers, establish new relationships and help manage the game day duties
• Attend team and community events for the purpose of making new connections and maximizing sales opportunities
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Sales Manager

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• Aggressive, competitive and committed to the sports industry
• Highly motivated with a desire to be successful
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Detail-oriented and organized; ability to handle several projects at once
• Prior telemarketing and/or sales experience is preferred but not essential
• Any experience working for a team, athletic department or event is beneficial
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
