Summary: Account Executives are responsible for generating revenue through the sale of season ticket and group sale packages. Builds business by identifying and selling new prospects and maintain relationships with clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maximizing revenue through the sale of Maine Mariners ticket packages including season tickets, partial plans, group tickets, and individual game tickets
  • Develop prospects by calling on both self-generated and provided leads. Proactively and aggressively solicit and generate new business to maximize season and group ticket sales revenue.
  • Anticipate needs of clients and maintain relationships with the highest level of customer service and inquiry response times to ensure positive customer experiences.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word and Outlook required, experience with CRM and ticketing software a plus.

Assistant Box Office Manager - Maverik Center / Centennial Management (West Valley City, Ut)

Maverik Center opened its doors to the Salt Lake Valley September 22, 1997 and is the home of the ECHL's Utah Grizzlies. Maverik Center gained international acclaim and exposure as the host venue for the Ice Hockey Championships at the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. Maverik Center combines the modern amenities of a large arena with the service and intimacy of a small theater. Within Maverik Center is a unique theatre configuration which can accomodate audiences as small as 3,700, while a crowd of 12,000 can be just as comfortable in the main arena.

General Statement of Duties: 

Responsible for assisting with the operation of the Maverik Center and Usana Amphitheatre Box Office including staffing, ticket sales, accounting and providing unsurpassed customer service. 

Areas of Responsibility:

Bookkeeping

  • Provide finance officers with necessary financial reports on a daily and monthly basis.
  • Balance all applicable transactions for the date of service and complete all necessary reports before departure.
  • Record and investigate all overages and shortages, and promptly report to Box Office Manager.
  • Count/balance all monies received into vault and make bank deposits.
  • Manage vault monies to ensure appropriate denominations are available for cash transactions.
  • Assist manager and accountants in developing and compiling reports as needed.
  • Manage payroll and distribution of paychecks for Ticket Office staff.
  • Monitor daily ticket sales of upcoming events.
  • Prepare box office settlements in absence of manager.

Office Management

  • Perform opening and closing procedures of the Box Office on both event days and non- event days.
  • Supervise all ticket sellers and provide necessary training and information to ensure that staff remains informed in regards to policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with the Box Office Manager to ensure that the day’s needs and requirements are met.
  • Hiring and scheduling of ticket sellers.
  • Process ticket sales at the box office as needed.
  • Manage customer service including problem resolution.
  • Ensure safe and risk free environment for employees.
  • Manage box office in absence of Box Office Manager
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Demonstrate exceptional skills in customer relations, communications and problem solving.
  • Calculate mathematical computations and handle financial transactions rapidly and accurately in a fast paced environment.
  • Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
