COMPENSATION:   

  • $18,720.00 base plus 7-10% commission on season tickets & groups

The Gwinnett Gladiators seek an energetic, hard working, and motivated sales associate to sell season tickets packages and group tickets via telemarketing, electronic mail and face-to-face presentations. This position will also service existing accounts, work all home games and cultivate relationships with their season ticket clientele. Create new ideas to increase ticket sales and retention, perform basic office functions as needed and be expected to attain goals of the ticket department each season. The candidate will report directly to the Vice President of Sales.

Account Executive - Premium Seating - Ontario Reign (Ontario, CA)

Company Information: Citizens Business Bank Arena is the centerpiece of Piemonte at the Ontario Center, an urban, mixed-use project, with Class A office, specialty retail, a 200-plus-room full-service hotel, entertainment and urban living components. Citizens Business Bank Arena hosts basketball, ice hockey and a variety of other sporting competitions, concerts, family shows, special events, conventions, school and community activities as well as private events. The venue is the largest and most modern arena within the Inland Empire, an area with 4 million people. It is located in the City of Ontario, on a 37-acre parcel located between Haven Avenue and Milliken Avenue, Fourth Street and the I-10 Freeway.

Citizens Business Bank Arena includes 9,500 fixed seats with additional "portable" seating risers to accommodate capacities of 11,089 for concerts, 9,736 for ice hockey and 10,832 for basketball. The 225,000 square foot venue also features 36 luxury suites located on two levels and a continuous concourse hosting a variety of refreshment stands and merchandise kiosks, a VIP club and other fan amenities.

Job Description: This position offers the candidate the ability to enhance their education and sales experience by generating excitement and driving revenue while working under the direction of the Manager of Premium Sales. This person will assist the Premium Sales team with prospecting and selling premium inventory for Citizens Business Bank Arena.

The Ontario Reign, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings and Winnipeg Jets, are looking for an energetic, professional, and self-motivated person who has a passion for sports and ticket sales. The Inside Sales Representative participates in a sales development program geared to prepare entry level candidates for a career within the sports sales industry. This individual will receive detailed and comprehensive sports sales training with a strong focus on developing the skills necessary to become an industry sales leader. The training will benefit the individual’s career growth as a full menu sports sales representative.

This opportunity would consist of generating business relationships in order to gain revenue by selling season tickets, partial game plans, group tickets, and club seats for the Ontario Reign Hockey Club of the ECHL. A core function of an Ontario Reign Inside Sales Representative is proactively and aggressively generating new revenue through outbound calls, prompt responses to inbound calls, team-related events, upselling, cross-selling, and generating referrals.

This position is a commission driven, part-time hourly position that does not include benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

 The South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL are looking for motivated, ambitious, energetic individuals for a new Inside Sales postition. Representatives will be responsible for selling Ticket Plans and Group tickets for the 2014-2015 season.

Representatives will be responsible for an individual goal, as well as an overall team sales goal. The Inside Sales postition will act as a starting ground with the opportunity to move into a senior level sales position. Candidates must be able to work game nights and weekends as needed.

Individuals participating will be provided with all of the tools needed to be successful in this exciting industry including constant training, mentoring and evaluation which will be the foundation of this unique learning experience.


Responsibilities/Duties for Sales Position:

Generate business revenue using all sales methods, including cold calls, face to face appointments, prospecting and networking.

Manage accounts in order to exceed established weekly and monthly sales goals.

This job requires 60+ phone calls per day to develop and close new clients for group tickets and season ticket sales.

Aggressive prospecting in order to generate new business relationships.
Develop prospects by calling on self-generated leads and lists provided of former customers.
Establish professional relationships to create repeat business
Working home games for the purpose of developing new prospects, service customers and performing other game night duties.

Inside Sales Account Executive: - Stockton Thunder (Stockton, CA)

Looking to get into the exciting sports industry? Look no further than the New York Islanders ECHL Affiliate Stockton Thunder Hockey Team!

Thunder Inside Sales Account Executive will be the driving force for the teams mini plan and promo plan sales.  Inside Sales Account Executives will need to be positive, outgoing and able to deal with rejection.  We will teach you the ins and outs of our products and provide you with the tools and skills necessary to be successful in the world of sales.  What will make you successful in this position is your willingness to keep making calls.  The percentage of calls to sells for these is low, so you’ll increase your sells by increasing your call volume.  You will be asked to be on the phone the time you are here looking to make anywhere between 40 to 60 calls an evening. 

Minor league sports are an ever changing flow of front office staff, so with that there is room for growth within the organization.  Familiarity with the product and success selling could lead to a full time Account Executive position later in the season if not after the season. 

Currently, we are looking for 6 to 8 people.  We are looking to have the position begin September 8, 2014 and going until at least the end of the regular season April, 11 2015 and may include the playoffs as well.  This is a part-time position only, and there is potential to work game nights.

Part-Time Position

Days of the Week: Tue-Sat

Hours: Tue-Fri (4:00 PM to 8:00 PM) Sat (10:00 AM to 2:00 PM)*

Wage: Minimum Wage ($9.00 per hour + Commission on Sales)

*Hours may flex for game night work opportunities.

Responsibilities:

- Work under the Ticket Service Manager and VP of Ticket Sales and Service

- Calling individual consumers, raffle entries, group attendees and online Thunder prospects looking to sale the full spread of ticket inventory and help us sell out the Stockton Arena for Thunder Games

- Will work a lot in our customer database system CSM (Contact and Sales Management System).

- Expected to make 40-60 calls a day minimum

- Minor Ticketmaster training and usage

- Possible data entry, filing or other office duties

- Occasional game day duties including, helping with handing out information, answering sales/team related questions and assisting with set-up and other odds and end jobs.

- Other sales department tasks as needed by the Ticket Service Manager or VP of Ticket Sales and Service.

Qualifications:

Ticket Sales & Service: Ticket Operations
Ticket Services Manager - Stockton Thunder (Stockton, CA)

OVERVIEW:

Responsible for processing all team ticket orders.

Responsible for supervising inside sales operation.

Respoinsible for maintenance of team's database.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

            Ticketing –

1.    Responsible for the documentation, accounting and printing of all ticket orders – suites, season tickets, mini plans, group tickets and special packages.

2.    Prints all spitter stock tickets based on ticket order / contract received and distributes tickets (to account rep, mail, place in Will Call).

3.    Executes all birthday packages (ticket printing, food orders, gift bags, in game announcements, mascot appearance, room reservations, etc.)

4.    Executes all on-line or call in family packs (ticket printing, food vouchers, hat vouchers) and placing package in Will Call. 

5.    Executes all on-line or call in single game or special package orders and place in Will Call. 

6.    Principal Team staff member at Will Call each game

 

Accounting –

7.    Maintains master original contracts for all ticket sales with notebooks for each ticket type (suites, season tickets, groups, family packs, etc.).

8.    Responsible for the accounting, inventory and distribution of all ticket package incentives (hats, pucks, sticks, birthday bags)

 

Contact Management System –

9.    Responsible for the maintenance and accuracy for all aspects of the Thunder’s contact management program (CSM) including ticket purchaser information (name, address, phone, email, purchase date, amount of purchase, ticket type, seat location, sales rep, renewal or new, etc.) as well as marketing lists, purging bad data, uploading data, etc.

10. Become and ‘expert’ with CSM and serve as a resource for the organization.

11. Analyze data within CSM to ensure proper penetration of key targets and proper service of customers by sales reps.

12. By searching and managing data variables, provide sales reps with leveraged contact lists to increase the effectiveness of sales efforts.

13. Responsible for entry of all on-line ticket sales data into CSM.

14. Extract ticket sales data from Ticketmaster and import into contact management program for marketing purposes.

15. Responsible for gathering data from game events (raffles, registrations), entering data into spreadsheet and uploading data into CSM.

16. Assists all personnel with effective usage of contact management program

 

Inside Sale Management –

17. Works closely with VP of Ticket Sales to execute inside sales operation.

18. Serves as on-site manager for inside sale personnel.

19. Provides leads to inside sales personnel using CSM, email marketing results and other lead generation sources

20. Run daily activity reports ascertaining call volume and success ratios for sales personnel.

21. Provides motivation and direction to inside sale personnel.

 

Reporting –

22. Prepares all ECHL ticket sales and box office reports.

23. Prepares all daily and weekly internal ticket sales reports.

24. Prepares monthly commission reports in concert based on payments provided by Director of Finance Administration.

25. Communicates weekly with Director of Finance to insure ticket accounts payable are ‘current’.

26. Prepares all ticket usage / attendance reports.
