Ticket Sales & Service: Ticket Sales
Director of Group and Corporate Ticket Sales - Alaska Aces (Anchorage, AK)

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Director of Group and Corporate Ticket Sales is directly involved with the sale of tickets.   He/she uses planning, organizational and people skills to prospect and achieve season ticket and group ticket goals as established by the Director of Ticketing and Managing Member.

 Functions:

- Reach personal sales goals as established by the Director of Ticket Sales.

- Plan, organize and manage personal sales goals and help the ticket department achieve its goals.

-Work with other members of the Aces staff to develop creative ways to attract new fans to the games.

- Make outgoing calls and contacts in order to generate new sales and attract new companies/fans.

- Sell various season ticket plans and group ticket packages to businesses and organizations..

- Maintain relationships/sales with existing clientele in all ticket sales categories to ensure long-term partnerships and upsell possibilities.

- Disseminate group and season ticket information to existing and potential clients.

- Follow up with the people who request and receive group outing and season ticket information.

- Collect deposits and final balances on outings and season ticket plans and follow the proper processes as they relate to the Ticket Department POS System and CRM..

- Interact with other staff members to help insure a positive and successful season.

- Set up meetings with potential season ticket holders and group leaders.

- Refer corporate sales opportunities to the VP of Sales and Marketing.

- Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

Full time, year round.

Off-season hours are typically 8 hour days.  During season hours may range from 8 to 12 hours per day

Required Experience:

The Director of Group and Corporate Season Sales should be self-motivated.  It is necessary to have good people, planning and organizational skills.  There is daily interaction with current and potential clients.  He/she should be creative, driven and possess the ability to work with others and accept various tasks.  Group ticket sales experience is required.

Group Sales Account Executive - Allen Americans Professional Hockey Club (Allen, TX)

Job Summary

Account Executive, Group Sales & Service is mainly responsible for prospect development, sales and service of group tickets for the Allen Americans Professional Hockey Club. This person will be expected to meet and ultimately exceed weekly, monthly and season long sales goals. 

Responsibilities:

• Sell Allen Americans group tickets.

• Meet and work to exceed assigned sales goals 
• Build positive relationships to provide repeat business and referrals 
• Proactively create opportunities for new business with existing customers.
• Make "Warm" & "Cold" calls to prospects of all demographics and group segments to ultimately sell group outings.
• Make a minimum of 70 calls per day & set a minimum number of face to face appointments per week
• Handle inbound calls for all ticket related products with the intention to upsell individual game buyers into plans and groups.
• Schedule in-arena appointments and place of business appointments with sales prospects and existing clients with the intent to close new and additional business. 
• Maintain accurate records of interaction with all ticket product customers.
• Work all Americans home games as well as additional outside functions including luncheons, business shows, conventions, chambers, etc.

• Assist Management with additional miscellaneous responsibilities

- Sell various season ticket plans to businesses, organizations and individuals.

- Sell group outings and catered events to businesses, organizations and individuals.

- Sell merchandise and souvenirs to businesses, organizations and individuals.

- Maintain relationships/sales with existing clientele in all ticket sales categories to ensure long-term partnerships and upsell possibilities.

- Handle incoming inquiries regarding season ticket plans and group outing options.

- Disseminate season ticket, group and catering information to existing and potential clients.

- Follow up with the people who request and receive season ticket, group outing and food & beverage outing information.

- Collect deposits and final balances on outings and season ticket plans and follow the proper processes as they relate to the Box Office, accounting, CRM, etc.

Account Executive - Ticket Sales - Utah Grizzlies (Salt Lake City, Ut)

 Description
As an Account Executive for the Grizzlies, you will begin building your sports resume through your performance developing relationships throughout Salt Lake that produce new ticket sales opportunities. A successful executive will use cold calls, face-to-face meetings and email marketing as methods for building lasting relationships with local businesses and individuals. As a member of our sales team, a high level of performance will enable you the opportunity to take on additional roles in both sales and management as your skills and resume to continually develop. The ability to work as a part of team is a must!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Generate business revenue using all sales methods, including cold calls, face to face appointments, prospecting and networking
• Make cold calls from provided lists to area companies to build new relationships
• Use a full catalog of inventory items (Group Seats, Full & Mini Packages, Food & Beverage Options, Suites, Meetings Space, etc) to customize a comprehensive hospitality package that fits your client's every need
• Aggressively prospect and research new sales leads
• Conduct face to face sales presentations with prospects and potential customers
• Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals in the areas of season, group and partial-plan ticket packages
• Record all activity and sales pipeline details in CRM system
• Provide superior customer service to clients - existing ticket holders, prospects, and single game customers
• Sell other special projects when necessary
• Be present at all home games to service your customers, establish new relationships and help manage the game day duties
• Attend team and community events for the purpose of making new connections and maximizing sales opportunities
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Sales Manager

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• Aggressive, competitive and committed to the sports industry
• Highly motivated with a desire to be successful
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Detail-oriented and organized; ability to handle several projects at once
• Prior telemarketing and/or sales experience is preferred but not essential
• Any experience working for a team, athletic department or event is beneficial
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
