Growth position available for a results oriented sales executive responsible for leading a ticket and group sales department for a professional hockey team. The position is an important part of the management and leadership structure of the fast paced organization with regular reporting and analysis requirements related to ticket sales results.
The position works closely with the corporate sales, sponsorships and marketing staffs to develop ticket plan designs, promotions, sales strategies, training programs, and incentive structures to increase sales and improve fan retention.
Management experience is required and experience in sports management and with ticketing systems is a plus. Computer literacy is important. Compensation includes salary plus performance based rewards. This is a position with excellent growth and advancement potential. A significant component of the responsibilities involves recruiting, training, coaching and monitoring sales representatives. Some direct selling may also be required.
The current sales staff totals 4 – 5 direct reports who are responsible for both inbound and outbound sales and service with consumers and organizers of group events. The entire sales staff works on the Game Day Squad for all 36 regular season home games, plus playoffs, as part of the all hands on deck organizational commitment to deliverying a fun and memorable experience for the fans.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and to be creative and progressive with sales strategies and techniques to achieve extraordinary results.
